In this bar Conscious use some of their favourite and more unusual ingredients mixed with our Peruvian cacao. This bar is akin to a morning smoothie but all wrapped up in the form of a chocolate bar! Conscious use Maca from the Peruvian Andes (the root of a plant grown at altitudes over 3500 metres), add spirulina, (is a natural spiral shaped blue-green algae, cultivated on an island in the south China sea and dried using natural spray evaporation which preserves its nutritional content); and balance these earthy ingredients with the organic vanilla powder from Madagascar . This is a deliciously smooth, creamy chocolate to both indulge and delight. Cacao solids 62%.
All Conscious bars are handmade in their unit in Sussex which is powered by 100% renewable energy sources. All of the packaging is plastic free, recyclable and home compostable. The inks are all made from vegetable inks and with a water-based varnish. Conscious love the planet as much as they love their chocolate.
